Mike is an adrenaline junkie!
He joined the Army at the tender age of 17 and served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is a certified open water diver and likes to joust on the weekends just for fun.
Mike studied stage combat with The Cumberland Company in Cumberland Rhode Island before joining the Hanlon-Lees as a squire. After serving as squire, head squire, and learning to joust under the instruction of Joust Master Richard Alvarez, Mike earned his spurs in 1991. Bryan Beard was there to ride with Mike in his first season as a jousting Knight. Years later when Bryan started Noble Cause, Mike was one of the first Knights to join his crew adding great character and historical knowledge to the company.
He also directs for Noble Cause when needed.
Since then Mike has performed at Renaissance faires and living history events across the country and salutes all the knights he has ridden with for his knowledge in the art. Michael has served one tour of duty so far in Afghanistan in the current conflict. He has a beautiful wife and daughter who he adores.
